The Adult Educational Guidance Initiative (AEGI) provides quality educational guidance services for adults.
The AEGI is aimed at any adult (over 18 yrs) who is considering returning to education or participating in a Literacy, VTOS or community education courses including BTEI programmes.
Former residents of institutions are entitled to access the AEGI services for guidance.
The guidance service offered by the AEGI is free and confidential and available from 41 centres operating nationwide.
The AEGI is funded by the Department of Education and Science.
